The Rural Business Workshop is designed for individuals and small businesses located in remote areas of the country and have fewer access to hands on brand training resources. We work along side local state and county offices and business associations to organize live training sessions open to small businesses, start ups, and individuals.
Once every 6 weeks our coaches will travel to your area for a live training session where the information for each training module is covered. Businesses are then put to task to complete the necessary work in time for the next session. Like all of our other training series, you will have access to our consultants and digital platforms for guidance.
The Rural Business Workshop covers all 4 modules in Brand Labs’ Brand Strategy Lab and are scheduled over a 5 month period, starting on a TBD basis. Module descriptions are as follows:
Month 1: Brand Audit
The starting point for the course work is a thorough brand analysis, what we call a Brand Audit. Think of this as a brand’s check-up. This is where the current strengths of a brand will be determined as well as those areas that need some attention, all with the end goal of creating the most effective brand possible to grow the bottom line.
Month 2: Consumer 360
In month 2 of the seminar cycle, Consumer 360 is explored. In this module, the basics of consumer research and defining the consumer’s journey are covered. This will help unravel the potential needs, wants, stories, and unknown opportunities that will drive a brand, not only as a marketing tool, but also as a business proposition.
Month 3: Brand DNA
In month 3 a Brand DNA is created. After establishing an understanding of the industry landscape and defining the consumer, this module defines who a business is. This is arguably the most enjoyable and rewarding module. It has several good team building exercises, in which we encourage the involvement of executive teams, as well as people on the front lines.
Month 4: Activation Map
In month 4 we outline an Activation Map. In this module, a marketing plan is defined with content mapping, sharing the new vision with the target consumers and the world at large. With careful planning, targeting and measuring we can help ensure that marketing dollars are highly leveraged for the highest possible return on investment.
